30 Day Blog Journal – Day 25

My day in great detail? You’ve got to be kidding me?!? You’re not? Oh geez…. if I must – OK.

So my day works out to be pretty long, but it’s different depending on how I feel in the morning. If it’s a crawl from the bed to the bathroom kind of day, then I spend most of it in my recliner, or my bed with my laptop, Facebook, and the Xbox.

If it’s a good day, and I get up feeling well, then there are plenty of things to keep me moving all day.

I usually get up around 10 or 11, only because we rarely go to bed before 3am.

Once I’m up, I start coffee, walk the dogs, and unload the dishwasher.

I get a cup of coffee and sit down with HLN, hopefully before 11. After two cups and a round of headlines – I’m ready to get moving. Normally, I check my e-mail and answer comments during the morning coffee/tv time.

I usually take something out of the freezer for dinner, so I decide on our menu for the night.

Next I tackle any laundry that might need to be done – that is before I sold my washer and dryer. Now I just wander around the house picking up and  packing.

I usually eat lunch around 2 or so, typically it’s a quick PB&J or Ramen noodles (shrimp).

Then I get ready to cook dinner. Once that’s done, and we’ve eaten someone does dishes then I clean the kitchen. I usually make a pot of tea right now too.

I do spend most of my day drinking coffee – and we go through several pots!

Yeah… no one day is a specific thing, and the details are mundane and boring – for outsiders. You just don’t have a clue what it’s like dealing with the children day in and day out. What with Our Girl having the serious bi-polar mood swings as she learns control without medication (under medical supervision)… then Our Guy and his addiction to the computer, and inability to respond to authority. He’s got Oppositional Defiant Disorder so dealing with his episodes can be rather interesting – you never know when something’s going to set him off.

Yeah,  my days are ever changing, ever evolving, and different… each and every one!

If I’ve not bored you to tears on this one – stick around, my even more eventful week is described tomorrow! LOL
